Unbelievable product Superior customer support

The Tone Wood Amp is a fantastic device to really make your guitar sing. The real deal is they back it up with great customer service. It's not really an amplifier, it's an enhancer. If it was good enough for George Benson, who rarely promotes products, I had to try it myself. Installation was easy with the clear instructions and videos. Once installed I fell in love with it. I cannot play my guitar without turning it on even though it's an option. When my children were playing with it, unsupervised, something went wrong. I decided to buy a replacement. No sooner than I had placed my order I received a call from TWA customer support. I registered the TWA unit, and that flaged Nick, a TWA representative. He instructed me to send the unit in. In less than a week I had the repaired unit back. And my guitar sings once more. You can't go wrong with a TWA. They are winners with a fantastic customer service group supporting it.

X-brace on Taylor GS-Mini

I was concerned how the X brace would work on my Taylor GS-Mini since it is a small body curved back. I moved it to just above the ES-2 system jack. It works well.

B-stock X-Brace

Like new. Fast delivery. Love my tonewood amp!

I love my TWA and I love the TWA service

I have had my TWA for four years now. From the outset it has been indispensable and a joy. My nylon Taylor has come alive with it.

I always play with and through the TWA because it gives me the volume range and tonal suite I love.

The TWA people have been superb (especially Nick!) in helping me resolve quickly any small issues I have had from time to time - they have been prompt, knowledgeable, customer-focussed and always truly helpful.

The TWA is a good product and the firm is a good company. I highly recommend them.

So Cool!!!

The Tonewood amp makes me feel like I’m playing in a concert hall! Perfect for hanging out with friends and playing favorite songs! My only issue is that sometimes the vibrations are a little too loud, but I am sure I’ll get better at adjusting for that as time goes by.

Tonewood Amps are the best!

I have nothing but praise for tonewood. The amplifier fits in my classical guitar case, and people are amazed to hear it without being hooked up to wires and another box. Customer service is superlative.
I recently bought another magnet so i could use the tonewood on my flamenco as well as classical guitar. As I have arthritis in my left thumb, tonewood allows me to apply less pressure to reach the same volume, thus easing playing and giving me a far wider dynamic response.

Fixed and works perfectly

I was impressed with the repair department. I received advise first and then had to go the repair route. The instructions were succinct and timely. I couldn’t be happier with Tonewood. You have great customer service.

I’m quite impressed with the depth and quality of what’s added to the sound of both my guitars. Although I do have a preference for my Washburn.

I personally prefer Hall, Plate, Delay, and Chorus. I use for different melodies I like to play around with.

And I can do so much more with these features. With a little tweaking I can get the Plate Setting to play with a Shimmer, as well as the Reverb going on. It can make for some very melodic melodies full rich and deep with so many possibilities to do vocally with them.

It is very hard to put my guitar down. It’s so much fun and so enjoyable!

Additional X-bracelet for second guitar. It works as perfect as the other. The real story is in the Amp. 🙂

Some of the different sounds aren't very distinctive from one another, but it works great in a small room group.

It is very cool, easy to install.
For those more amateurs, it should come with more explanations of how to get the beat sound and/or the different sounds. I followed the videos, and everything but is more for those who understand more or use pedals already. I will continue exploring and learning for sure

Tone wood solo amp

Tone wood solo amp is so cool. It’s hard to believe I get all the awesome sounds from my guitar now.

Love it

I have several acoustic guitars and travel a lot. The tonewood makes it easier to have an amp when you can't drag one around with you.

Love My ToneWoodAmp

I am not a performing musician any longer but the ToneWoodAmp sounds very nice on my Taylor GC-8. Installing was a bit challenging and the extra weight on the guitar is off-putting a bit, but I’m glad that I got it!

Works in an Irish Bouzouki too!

I was excited to get the ToneWoodAmp for my Takamine accoustic. Fitting it was pretty easy, and setting up the correct levels took a bit of fiddling (Takamine have a powerful preamp in their excellent pickups) but afterwards it sounded truly extraordinary. I bought an extra X-brace, and wanted to see if I could fit it into my Trinity College Irish Bouzouki. I could only just get my hand inside the much smaller sound hole, but the X-brace went in and located just fine. The Trinity doesn't have a built in pickup, so I'm using a Schatten BM-1 PRO Passive piezo pickup stuck on the bridge. The output of the passive pickup is very different from the guitar with the powered internal preamp, so you need to set the master gain differently, but once it's correctly adjusted the ToneWoodAmp sounds fanatastic with the 'zook (and you can save the different set-up into the memory to quickly switch the amp between instruments.) The ToneWoodAmp adds so much to both instruments, it makes me want to play until my fingertips are sore. Totally worth the investment - I'd recommend to anyone!

Total Tonal Bliss

I’ve seen this for years now and wanted to try one. It’s amazing a piece of gear for any Acoustic musician to own. I’ve not yet even scratched the surface on what it’s capable of. I’m planning on using it live thru the line out to my small PA rig for those small intimate venues where I want the effect. It’s easy to adjust the gain, volume and parameters. I’m glad I am a Tonewood Owner.

The BEST

I was amazed at the sound. Little effort to install once you watch the video. (Highly recommended) maybe twice. After watching the video it was a simple and quite fast. The tones are AMAZING. So thankful for the ad in FaceBook. You all are amazingly talented
