It is like the original Tonewood but much improved upon. It has a way to eliminate feedback frequencies, is easier to dial in effect amounts. Could use more effects but for the plate reverb alone it is worth it. It elevates the playing experience of the acoustic in such a beautiful way. I love going into a trance while playing the acoustic. I put it in a Martin and it makes it so addictive to play(any acoustic will feel premium). My electric guitars and basses are jealous right now.
Took me a bit of strength to access the leveler, though. I thought I was gonna break it- but didn’t. Watched all the video lessons, but still haven’t put it to work. I know what to expect, because I have the Original TWA. Quite happy that I have it up and running to even a small extent!
Absolutely brilliant. So many options and functionality. Never has my acoustic been so much more without a bulky amp. Love it so far. Takes a long time to charge, but also lasts a long time. My only recommendation for those like me who have an active pickup is to unplug the cable from your guitars jack when not in use.
Literally almost right out of the box this tonewood amp 2 is up and flowing with super cool rich sounds with reverb that sounds better than most professional sounds out of very expensive setups. I have the brace magnets set up on 3 guitars from the original tonewood amp. Looking forward to some fun in small group worship settings!!
So much easier to control than the old version. It also is more slim and I lover the fact that it fits the old magnets installed “permanently” on all my acoustic electric guitars.
Still trying to decide where I like the position of the amp best, however I really enjoy playing the acoustic again. Sort of boring without now. Also love the App for my Android phone, it gives do much control without playing with the buttons on the amp itself. Overall really happy. Love it.

What an improvement over the original (which I own). Rechargeable battery and the ability to set/change setting via iPhone app is very good. Im very satisfied 👍

ToneWoodAmp is a great product. The suction drips are replaced every so often. I would definitely recommend the tone with amp to any acoustic guitar player, who wants to add some effects to their instrument.

The Tone Wood Amp is a fantastic device to really make your guitar sing. The real deal is they back it up with great customer service. It's not really an amplifier, it's an enhancer. If it was good enough for George Benson, who rarely promotes products, I had to try it myself. Installation was easy with the clear instructions and videos. Once installed I fell in love with it. I cannot play my guitar without turning it on even though it's an option. When my children were playing with it, unsupervised, something went wrong. I decided to buy a replacement. No sooner than I had placed my order I received a call from TWA customer support. I registered the TWA unit, and that flaged Nick, a TWA representative. He instructed me to send the unit in. In less than a week I had the repaired unit back. And my guitar sings once more. You can't go wrong with a TWA. They are winners with a fantastic customer service group supporting it.
I was concerned how the X brace would work on my Taylor GS-Mini since it is a small body curved back. I moved it to just above the ES-2 system jack. It works well.

I have had my TWA for four years now. From the outset it has been indispensable and a joy. My nylon Taylor has come alive with it.
I always play with and through the TWA because it gives me the volume range and tonal suite I love.
The TWA people have been superb (especially Nick!) in helping me resolve quickly any small issues I have had from time to time - they have been prompt, knowledgeable, customer-focussed and always truly helpful.
